Fundamental 3

Learn the corrective setup, where a careful analysis becomes a consistent correction.

  • ✓Create the game plan to set up the patient correctly every time
  • ✓Lock in the mastoid while keeping the patient relaxed
  • ✓Use the latest mathematical model to calibrate the instrument

Where You Are

Knowing the vector is only half the job

You’ve done a careful analysis, then the setup quietly undoes it. The head rocks or rotates, the head height angle goes unmeasured, and when the exam findings don’t clear, it’s tempting to start changing the numbers.

The correction depends on how the patient, the table and the instrument are set up. This is the last stretch, where your analysis becomes an adjustment you can repeat.

How We Help

The setup and the adjustment, step by step

Fundamental 3 is taught live on Zoom in the Monthly Huddle, on the second Tuesday of each month from June through September at 9:00 pm Eastern.

We work through the corrective setup the way you’ll use it in practice: five-step table placement, mastoid support that keeps the head from rocking or rotating without tensing the patient, measuring the head height angle, precise Y-vector alignment, and leading the stylus to the transverse process. Then we cover how to evaluate the patient before and after the adjustment. When the exam findings don’t clear, you’ll know how to check the setup instead of changing the numbers from your analysis.

What You Gain

Why doctors take Fundamental 3

A Setup You Can Repeat

Follow a defined sequence for the table and the patient, so every visit starts from the same place.

The Instrument, Explained

Understand how to aim and deliver the correction with the table-mounted instrument.

Ready for Level 1

Finishing the series, together with Bootcamp, is one of the pathways to Level 1 Certification.

The Plan

Three steps to get going

STEP 01

Become a Member

The Monthly Huddle is part of AOI membership, $799 a year.

STEP 02

RSVP and Join on Zoom

Second Tuesdays, June through September, at 9:00 pm Eastern. Every session is recorded, so you can watch it again whenever it suits you.

STEP 03

Get Hands-On

Attend an AdvO Intensive to practice what you’ve learned with instructors at your side.

Fit Check

Is Fundamental 3 right for you?

A strong fit if you are

✓Coming from Fundamentals 1 and 2, or comfortable with the exam and the analysis
✓An upper cervical doctor who wants to refine their corrective setup
✓Getting ready for Level 1 Certification

Maybe not the best fit if

–You want hands-on training; the Zoom sessions don’t include it, but the AdvO Intensive does
–You’re not ready to join yet; start with the free Intro to AdvO course
